Ingredients

Cake Ingredients
  • 1 box (432g) Dark Chocolate Cake Mix Standard size
  • 1 cup (250g) Creamy Peanut Butter Slightly melted
  • 1.5 cups (255g) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 cup (170g) Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 cup (240ml) Whole Milk

Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch Glass Baking Pan
  • 1 Spatula

Method

Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch glass baking pan.
  2. Spread the dry chocolate cake mix into the bottom of the pan. Pour melted butter and milk evenly over the top without stirring.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of melted peanut butter over the mixture and use a knife to create swirls.
  4. Top with chocolate chips and bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly wobbly.

Notes

Use a glass pan to ensure the edges set perfectly while the center remains fudgy.
Do not over-mix the liquids and dry cake mix; the 'dump' method relies on layering.
