Main Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Using an electric hand mixer, whip on medium-high speed for 2-3 minutes until the cream cheese is light, fluffy, and smooth.
- Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream. Mix on low speed until everything is just combined and uniformly distributed.
- Turn off the mixer. Add the chopped chives and parsley. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the herbs into the dip until evenly incorporated.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Create some swirls on top for texture. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs and serve immediately or chill until ready.
Notes
Don't Rush the Softening: Truly room temperature cream cheese is the secret to a lump-free dip.
Use Freshly Cracked Pepper: The flavor and texture of pre-ground pepper don't compare.
Taste and Adjust: Before serving, always taste your dip and adjust seasonings if needed.
Make It Ahead: This dip can be made a day in advance; the flavors will meld and deepen overnight in the refrigerator.
