  • 16 oz Full-Fat Cream Cheese 2 blocks (450g), softened to room temperature
  • 2 tbsp Grainy Yellow Mustard (30ml) for texture and tang
  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic Finely minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Flat-Leaf Parsley (15g) finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to heat preference
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cayenne Pepper For a bright red dusting
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest Plus a few droplets of juice
  • 1/2 tsp Cracked Black Pepper Freshly ground

Method
 

Whip the Cream Cheese
  1. Place softened cream cheese in a bowl and beat with a hand mixer for 3-5 minutes until light, fluffy, and showing visible swirls.
  2. Using a spoon, create decorative peaks and valleys in the whipped cheese to hold the toppings.
Layer the Flavors
  1. Dollop the grainy mustard into the swirls and sprinkle the minced raw garlic evenly across the surface.
  2. Scatter the fresh parsley, red pepper flakes, cayenne, and lemon zest over the top. Add a few drops of lemon juice and finished with cracked black pepper.

Notes

Always use full-fat block cream cheese for the best texture.
Whip for at least 3 minutes to ensure the dip is light enough for fragile chips.
