Preparation and Searing
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure a golden-brown sear. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 90 seconds per side until pink and seared on the edges.
- Lower heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic. Stir for 1 minute until butter is glossy and garlic is fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Toss to coat shrimp in the translucent yellow sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Use a heavy skillet to get the best sear without overcooking the centers.
