Preparation
- Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Thread 4-5 shrimp onto each skewer, piercing through the head and tail to secure.
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vinegar. Simmer over low heat for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
Grilling
- Preheat grill to medium-high (400°F). Place skewers on oiled grates. Grill for 2-3 minutes until dark char marks appear.
- Flip the skewers and liberally brush the cooked side with the honey glaze. Grill for another 2 minutes. Place lemon halves cut-side down on the grill simultaneously.
- Remove shrimp and charred lemons from the grill. Arrange on a platter, sprinkle with scallions and chili flakes, and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure the grill is fully preheated to get those distinct char marks.
