Preparation
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, toasted sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and press into a flat layer. Let sear undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until deeply browned and crispy on the bottom.
- Break the turkey into crumbles. Add broccoli florets to the pan. Add 2 tbsp of water and cover with a lid for 60 seconds to steam. Remove lid and sauté until broccoli is tender-crisp and tips are slightly charred.
- Pour the sauce over the turkey and broccoli. Toss constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce becomes a glossy, dark amber glaze that clings to the ingredients.
- Remove from heat. Top with a heavy sprinkling of sesame seeds and fresh scallions. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra spice, add 1 tsp of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
