Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries stems attached
  • 8 oz white chocolate high-quality or melting wafers
  • 4 oz dark chocolate for details and dipping
  • 1 tsp coconut oil divided
  • Orange oil-based food coloring
  • 2 tbsp Orange and black sugar sprinkles

Equipment

  • 3 Microwave-safe bowls One for each chocolate color
  • 1 Parchment Paper For lining the tray
  • 1 Toothpicks or piping bags For fine details

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash strawberries and pat completely dry with paper towels. Ensure they reach room temperature before dipping.
Melting
  1. Melt white and dark chocolate in separate bowls in 30-second increments. Stir in coconut oil until glossy.
  2. Add oil-based orange coloring to half of the melted white chocolate to create a vibrant pumpkin hue.
Decorating
  1. Dip strawberries in white chocolate. Add two dark chocolate dots for eyes while still tacky.
  2. Dip in white chocolate, let set, then drizzle fine horizontal white lines. Add dark chocolate eyes peeking through.
  3. Dip in orange chocolate. Once set, use dark chocolate to draw triangular eyes and jagged mouths.
  4. Dip in dark chocolate and immediately coat with orange and black sugar sprinkles.

Notes

Always use oil-based food coloring to prevent seizing.
Ensure berries are 100% dry for the chocolate to adhere correctly.
