Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 20 oz Refrigerated Cheese Tortellini 567g
  • 4 oz Hard Salami 113g, diced
  • 4 oz Sandwich Pepperoni 113g, chopped
  • 4 oz Deli Ham 113g, cubed
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes 150g, halved
  • 0.5 cup Red Onion 75g, finely diced
  • 0.5 cup Sliced Pepperoncini 60g
  • 1 cup Creamy Italian Dressing 240ml, mayonnaise-based
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper 2g, freshly cracked

Equipment

  • 1 Large Stockpot For boiling the tortellini.
  • 1 Colander For draining and rinsing pasta.
  • 1 Matte Black Serving Bowl For the signature visual presentation.
  • 1 Chef's Knife For dicing meats and vegetables.

Method

Boil the Pasta
  1. Cook the refrigerated cheese tortellini in a large pot of salted boiling water for 2-3 minutes until they float and are al dente.
  2. Immediately drain the pasta and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking and remove excess starch.
Prep and Mix
  1. In a large matte black bowl, combine the diced salami, chopped pepperoni, cubed ham, halved cherry tomatoes, finely diced red onion, and sliced pepperoncini.
  2. Add the cooled tortellini to the bowl. Pour the creamy dressing over the mixture and fold gently until every ingredient is thoroughly coated.
  3. Top with freshly cracked black pepper and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Rinse the pasta thoroughly with cold water to prevent it from soaking up too much dressing immediately.
Use a serrated knife for the cherry tomatoes to ensure clean halves without bruising.
