Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Chicken Breast diced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Sour Cream 240ml
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise 120ml
  • 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning 28g
  • 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese 225g, shredded
  • 8 slices Bacon 150g, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Green Onions 50g, freshly sliced

Equipment

  • 1 White Ceramic Rectangular Baking Dish 9x13 inch preferred
  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 white ceramic baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk sour cream, mayo, and ranch seasoning. Fold in diced chicken until heavily coated.
  3. Spread chicken in the dish. Top with a thick layer of shredded cheddar. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese has golden-brown toasted spots.
  4. Top with crispy bacon bits and sliced green onions immediately after removing from the oven.

Notes

Use a block of cheese and shred it yourself for the best melting properties.
Cook bacon until very crispy so it maintains texture against the creamy sauce.
