Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese 225g, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar 30g
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 5ml
  • 1/2 cup Caramel Sauce 120ml, divided for center and drizzle
  • 1.5 cups Salted Pretzels 150g, crushed
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter 28g, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Coarse Sea Salt Flakes For garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor For crushing pretzels
  • 1 Baking Sheet For freezing caramel centers

Method

Preparation
  1. Drop 24 half-teaspoon dollops of caramel sauce onto parchment paper and freeze for 30-60 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Flatten 1 tbsp of cheesecake mix, place a frozen caramel center inside, and roll into a sphere. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter. Roll cheesecake balls in pretzels, drizzle with remaining caramel, and sprinkle with sea salt.

Notes

Make sure the caramel sauce is thick (like a jarred sundae topping) so it doesn't leak.
Freeze the bites briefly before rolling in pretzels to help them keep their round shape.
