  • 1 lb (454g) Ground Beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 packet (28g) Taco Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Water
  • 1 cup (115g) Sharp Orange Cheddar Cheese Finely shredded
  • 2 cups (150g) Iceberg Lettuce Shredded, pale green
  • 1 cup (200g) Red Tomatoes Small diced, vibrant
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Sour Cream Thick, smooth

Method
 

Prepare the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until crumbly and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the beef is well-coated and saucy.
Assemble the Walking Tacos
  1. Using scissors, slice the corn chip bags horizontally along the side to create a wide opening.
  2. Spoon the hot seasoned beef over the crunchy chips. Immediately top with shredded orange cheddar cheese so it melts.
  3. Top with shredded iceberg lettuce, diced red tomatoes, and a thick dollop of white sour cream.
